Uses Of Beclate Rotacaps 400 Mcg

Beclate Rotacaps are inhaled corticosteroids used for the regular treatment of asthma in adults and children over five years old. They help prevent symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing by reducing swelling and inflammation in the small airways. Beclate Rotacaps can be used as both maintenance therapy for asthma control as well as reliever therapy to treat acute asthma attacks.

How Beclate Rotacaps 400 Mcg Works

When inhaled, beclometasone works locally in the lungs by binding to steroid receptors and reducing the release of inflammatory substances. This decreases swelling, mucus secretion, and constriction of the bronchial airways, making breathing easier. The anti-inflammatory action of beclomethasone also helps prevent asthma attacks from being triggered by allergens or irritants.

Direction For Use

Beclate Rotacaps should be inhaled using an inhaler, normally the Rotahaler device. Each Rotahaler contains foil strips with 6 Rotacaps containing the beclometasone powder. The usual dose is 1 or 2 Rotacaps twice daily, which your doctor may adjust according to your response. To inhale a dose, open the Rotahaler, take out a Rotacaps foil strip, and peel it apart to remove one of the capsules.

Place it in the Rotahaler chamber. Hold the Rotahaler upright, put the mouthpiece to your lips, and press both buttons on the sides simultaneously to release the medicine while taking a deep, steady breath. Hold your breath for several seconds, then breathe out slowly.

Common:

• Sore mouth or throat
• Hoarse voice
• Oral thrush (candidiasis)

Uncommon:

• Chest infection
• Bruising of the skin
• Anxiety or aggression
• Muscle weakness or wasting

Rare:

• Breathing difficulties or wheezing immediately after taking a dose
• Irregular heartbeat
• Behavioral changes, especially in children
• Inflammation of sinuses
• High blood sugar levels
